This year's Italian Job night at the Ace Cafe was a lot quieter than last year despite it being the 3rd anniversary of Miniacs. Road works on the A406 meant that almost all of us got stuck in lots of traffic on the way and as we had come from work meant that we didn't manage to get even one Miniacs Mini into the car park! Ria's friends from work, Stuart and new member Chris (it's official!) were the lucky ones who arrived by train and didn't have to face the horrors of the north London rush hour/road works combination. Neil and Ria came as the Miniacs racing team again in attempt to get some wear out of the overalls!

Tim attracted the interest of the Miniworld photographer
by photogenically eating his dinner, WOOHOO!
How many times can we get Miniacs
into Miniworld??
The auction went
on for bloody ages this year as the microphone was being a bit of a bitch.
Whilst waiting for the auction to finish, Ria was done out of 20p.She attempted
to buy some jelly beans out of the machine, only to be told afterwards that it
was "out of order, sorry". No refund either, disgraceful. Lindsay got some
Minstrels though.
The raffle was also a bit long as there seemed to be some confusion over the
colour of the tickets, but Ria managed to get in with a "puce" coloured ticket
and got an ace mug and pen, while Lindsay got a t-shirt for Paul who had to work
and was disappointed he couldn't make it.
